This is the Altered Astrid stump doll class I taught for the Beach Peeps of Marysville, Washington. It was their annual retreat at a beach house in Pacific Beach, WA. I had a wonderful time with great company, food, chocolate, wine and dollmaking! We made our own fabric with free-motion embroidery from which the bodies were sewn. This was a two day class but we covered so many techniques including fabric wrapping on wire, painting with metallic rub on paints and Pearl Ex,
surface design, Tyvek, burning organza and Apoxy Sculpt. Every doll was a work of art!
