Gore-don, a gourd-head doll by Patti LaValley

GUARDIAN GOBLIN
OF THE GOURD PATCH

Gore-Don can be found in the warm autumn days, rustling among the fallen leaves and gourds in the garden. He has been there since the beginning of time... so long in fact, that his head has taken the shape of a gourd. He will be there until the end of all days, or until his nose ceases to cast a shadow.

Gore-Don's head is created from a gourd that I grew in my garden. It was one that had partially rotted and hardened with these two eye sockets. His body is doe suede.

Gore-Don sits at 13" and is permanently mounted on a driftwood base.

Gore-Don was created for the goblin challenge at Doll Street
