Unless otherwise noted on the pattern pieces, there will be no openings for turning and stuffing. You will slit where noted and turn the piece through the slit.

With right sides together, piece the two cotton fabrics together in the middle. Fold in half and center the doll template in the center with the waist in the center seam of the pieced fabrics. Pin the fabric to keep seam aligned. Iron the freezer paper template onto the fabric. Sew around the body with small stitch. Slit where indicated through ONE layer and turn right side out. Stuff the neck firmly and the upper body lightly. Top stitch arms and waist, then stuff the lower body. Stitch the slit to close.

Use guide to draw on features with black micron pen. Use yellow gel pen to color iris of eye, and white pen to highlight the pupil. Use brown colored pencil to draw on stripes on cat parts. Fix all parts with spray fixative before and after. Use diagram on pattern page to sculpt the paws and ears. Sew cat"s head onto neck tab of cat body, and sew or glue the tail to the back. Joint the hind leg by stitching back and forth in place, see diagram. Glue the cat to front of doll as shown.
